Since 2022, a large number of closed refrigerated display cases and refrigerated Wells of AKE products in use with natural refrigerant R290 (propane) have been tested according to the IECEE CB scheme. The IECEE CB certification proves the safety of AKE equipment, which is operated according to international safety requirements (IEC standards) with regard to electrical and electronic components. The F-Gas regulation governs the placing on the market of refrigerants that are harmful to the ozone layer. AKE sees it as its duty to counteract this and therefore uses the environmentally friendly and natural refrigerant R290 (propane).
