Since 2022, parts of AKE’s self-service display cases (Grab & Go display cases with product chute for bottles) are tested with natural refrigerant R290 (propane) according to IECEE CB scheme. The F-Gas regulation ensures that companies like AKE, implement forward-looking technologies in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency for the manufacture of refrigeration equipment. The IECEE CB certification proves the safety of AKE equipment when using the natural refrigerant R290 (propane) with regard to electrical and electronic components according to international safety requirements (IEC standards).
